Day One · The Arrival

Arrival in Venice

A mahogany water taxi lifts you from Marco Polo across a silver lagoon. The skyline rises like a stage set; the light knows its cue. By evening you are gliding past Santa Maria della Salute in a private gondola, and the canal has turned to hammered gold.

Day 2 La Serenissima - sunrise ceremony, masked-ball evening or a quiet wine-bar dinner.

A hidden table on the water

A table only the gondoliers know - candlelight, geraniums, and the canal itself for a floor. We keep the quiet one.

Day Two · afternoon - the lagoon islands

The Islands of the Lagoon

Between the vows and the crossing, a private launch slips north across the lagoon to two small islands that have spent centuries perfecting beauty - one in fire, one in colour.

The brightly coloured fishermen's houses of Burano mirrored in a still canal, moored boats in the foreground
Burano - a village painted for the fog

Every house a different colour, on purpose.

Murano · the furnace Molten glass, pulled into being before your eyes.

Murano

Nine islets, one thousand years of fire.

Nine small islands, threaded together by bridges. Watch a maestro conjure a vase from a blob of light - the demonstrations in the historic workshops are free - then step into the Glass Museum, where the island keeps its finest work behind glass, fittingly.

small islands, laced together by footbridges - a whole village of glass.

Burano

Colour, lace, and a tower that leans.

Legend says the fishermen's wives chose the brightest paints so their husbands could find the way home through the lagoon fog.

  • The Lace Museum guards Burano's impossibly fine hand-made lace.
  • Its leaning bell-tower tilts over the canals, as if listening.

Days 4 & 5 · The Archipelago

Kornati,
kept wild

Kornati National Park is a strictly protected nature reserve of 89 islands, islets and reefs - and we sail it the only way one should: small groups, licensed skippers, leave-no-trace picnics, anchoring only in permitted coves. Stone-desert ridges over cobalt channels. Silence you could pour.

Day Six · The Island of Love

Nature drew a heart.
We booked it.

Galešnjak - the world's most perfectly heart-shaped island. A private boat across the channel, a champagne picnic on white linen, a vow whispered at the heart's very center, and one aerial photograph you will frame forever.
